We'll build it with you. On your real work, in one hour.

Free. It starts with a 30-minute call to find the right thing to build.

Because the wrong workflow built perfectly is still the wrong workflow.

Free. If there's nothing worth building, I'll say so.

Two conversations. Both free.

Step 1: The 30-minute call

We find the result you're actually after and the process that produces it. By the end I'll tell you whether there's something here worth an hour, and what we'd build. Sometimes the answer is no. You'll get that answer straight.

Step 2: The build

An hour with the computers open. We use the AI tool you already pay for, on a real piece of your own work, and you leave with something running that you can repeat next week without me.

After that, if you want more of them built, we'll talk.

Not before.

It's hard to know whether you want help until you've watched one of these get made.

Three rules, in this order

1. Start with the result, never the tool.

"I want to use AI for my podcast" is a tool. "I want to stop losing search traffic to people publishing four times a week while I publish once" is a result. Only one of those tells us what to build. Most AI advice skips this step entirely, which is why it produces demos instead of outcomes.

2. Describe the manual process before automating it.

You can't automate a process you can't walk someone through. So the call has one real test: forget AI exists, and tell me how you'd produce that result entirely by hand.

Plenty of people find they can't. That's not a bad outcome, it's the most useful thing the call produces. Nothing gets handed off while it only exists in your head, and now you know exactly what to write down.

3. Find the step that's only yours, and build a fence around it.

Every process has one. It's the judgment call, the taste, the thing that comes from having done this for fifteen years. AI works right up to that step and stops.

This is the rule most creators are worried about when they hesitate on AI, and they're right to worry. Hand that step over and the output stops sounding like you. We name it out loud before we build anything.

Thirty minutes, three questions

Most of the call is you talking.

What do you want to be true in 90 days that isn't true now?

We sharpen it until it's something you'd actually notice happening.

How would you produce that by hand?

Start to finish, no AI, unlimited time. This is where we find the workflow, and it's where we find out whether one exists yet.

Which step could only be done by you?

That's the one we protect.

Then I give you a straight answer: this is worth an hour, this is worth an hour once you've written the process down, or this isn't the right problem for AI and here's what is.

This works if you're already good at something

You built a track record somewhere before you started creating. Medicine, law, engineering, a company you ran. The work you make now has to carry that, and generic output actively costs you.

You're doing too much by hand, mostly because you're the only one who knows how it should come out.

And you've read enough AI-flavored content to be suspicious of the whole category. Good. Bring that.

Where I'd say no: you want a tour of which tools to buy, you're after a done-for-you content service, or the thing you need help with happens twice a year. None of those are worth your hour or mine.

What clients say about working together

"It forced me to look at the things in my way and gave me strategies to overcome them. Personal strategies that work for me."

Dara B.

"Shawn has a knack for getting me out of my comfort zone simply by asking the right questions. I finished our sessions with excitement to get to work on the plan we crafted."

James H.

Questions

Do I need to already use AI?

No. If you've never opened one of these tools, that changes nothing about the 30-minute call and very little about the build. You'll describe your own work and I'll handle the translation.

Which tool will we use?

Whatever you're already paying for. If that's nothing, I'll tell you what fits the workflow we scoped, and I have no affiliate deals to disclose.

Will I be able to run this myself afterward?

That's the point. I build it with you, not for you, and you drive wherever you can. If you'd need me every time, we built the wrong thing.

Why is the build free too?

Selling you a package before you've seen how I work would be asking you to guess. The hour answers that question for both of us. If it goes badly you've lost sixty minutes and still keep whatever we built.

What's the commitment if I want to keep going after the build?

Nothing gets decided before the build. If you want more of them built afterward, that's a paid engagement and I'll walk you through what it involves then. Two free sessions is the whole commitment you're making today.

What if we don't find anything worth building?

Then I'll say that on the call and you'll get your afternoon back. It happens, and the reason is usually that the result isn't clear yet rather than anything to do with AI.

How is this different from the Creator Diagnostic?

The Creator Diagnostic asks what's holding you back. This one asks what result you want and what it would take to produce it reliably. Book whichever fits, or both.

Bring one result you want and one process you're tired of.

Thirty minutes from now you'll know whether AI can help with it, and if it can, we'll have the build on the calendar before we hang up.
